Young. Vibrant. Energetic. Passionate.
These are just a few words to describe Missouri native and Columbia College Chicago student Aaron Branch. A modern-day Renaissance Man, Branch is an actor, comedian, writer, producer and hip-hop artist.
Branch made his comedic debut at an open mic night when he was just 16 years old. Six months later, he won the title of Best Comedian in Kansas City at Stanford & Sons Comedy Club. By the time he was 17, he had written, produced and performed his first one-man show called The Aaron Branch Experience, which received rave reviews and was one of the top-grossing performances at the 2012 KC Fringe Festival.
His next effort, Watch Me As I Go. Live, is a unique music-comedy experience, featuring Aaron and (for the first time ever), his musical persona, Addison Floyd. Check the events page to see when #WMAIGLive will be in a city near you.
But... WHO THE F*#% IS ADDISON FLOYD?!?
One-of-a-Kind. Creative. Cool. Fresh.
Meet Addison Floyd: the musical extension of Aaron Branch.
Named after a visit to Addison, Texas when Branch was in high school, Addison Floyd (aka “Addi Floyd”) is a second identity that allows him to self-express in a more mature, serious tone.
Floyd makes his mixtape debut with Watch Me As I Go (WMAIG)—an ode to high school days with a focus on a collegiate future. Through a unique combination of hip-hop, jazz and electronica beats, Addison Floyd aims to connect with each and every listener so they feel like, no matter what they are going through in life, they’re not alone.
